Fallen to the trembling Earth,
Screaming in a world of pain.
Taken to the crumbling hearth,
Losing life and love in vain.
Where have all the guardians gone?
Fell to gain and loose so much?
Shattered like the hunted fawn,
Immortality for but one touch.
Come to me, my fallen one,
One last breath for one last kiss,
Taken with the dying sun,
One to hell and one to bliss.
Anyone who's seen the movie "City of Angels" will catch the inspiration of this poem immediately. I wrote it while one relationship I had withered and another bloomed, which also inspired the mixed feelings of it.
